Jane and Ellen
ABERSOCH.—On the11th November, at about 3 P.M., the schooner Jane and Ellen, Nefyn, which had parted from her anchors, was observed to show a signal of distress, having struck on a bank at the mouth of the river Soch, during a heavy gale from W.S.W. The crew of the Mabel Louisa Life-boat were summoned and the boat was launched, and succeeded in bringing the vessel's crew, consisting of 3 men, safely ashore..
