HOWTH, DUBLIN BAY,—The Life-boat Clara Baker was launched on the evening of the 6th August, and proceeded to the assistance of the brigantine Elizabeth Brooks, of Larne, which was ashore, with strong breeze blowing from S.E., on the Baldoyle Bank. The Life-boat remained by the stranded vessel for some hours, until the falling tide rendered the lives of the crew safe, when she returned to her station..
