On the 22nd October, at 3 P.M., signals of distress were observed at this station from the Swedish barque Svadsfare, and the Life-boat Harriott Forteath having boarded her, the crew were engaged to carry the disabled vessel into port, which, with the Life-boat in company, they suc- ceeded in doing.
