Ystroom, of Amsterdam

On the 27th January, during a fresh breeze at S.S.E., in obedience to signals observed from the North Sand Head and Gull Lightships, the Life- boat Bradford, in tow of the steam-tug Aid, proceeded to the barque Ystroom, of Amsterdam, then ashore on. the east side of the Goodwin Sands, and, remaining by that vessel till the tide flowed, succeeded, in conjunction with the steam-tug, in getting her afloat, and taking her and her crew of 14 men safely into Ramsgate Harbour..
