On the 4th April, however, it was any- thing but fine weather, and the night was dark and tempestuous. Nevertheless, the ! Hope eventually succeeded in saving the crews of the three vessels and entered I Bideford Harbour in safety, with them, I about 10.30 P.M., after a most successful 1 and highly meritorious night's work.
