She proved to be the barque Smmeline, of Bordeaux, at anchor in Seaton Bay. Her crew of 11 men were only too glad to avail themselves of the aid of the Life-boat, and accord- ingly they were taken into the boat, which then proceeded through a very high sea to Beer, where a landing was safely ac- complished.
