Samuel and Ann, of Great Yarmouth

On the 7th December the schooner Samuel and Ann, of Great Yarmouth, went on the Horsey Bank while it was blowing a fresh gale from E.N.E., the night being intensely dark at the time. The Palling No. 1 Life- boat Parsee was launched with difficulty, and brought safely to shore the schooner's crew of 4 men. The heavy seas were making a clean breach over the wreck at the time..
