On the 14th December the ship Bobina, bound from Aguilas, in Spain, to Shields, went ashore off Jury's Gap. The Eye Life-boat Arthur Frederick Fitzroy, and the Solicitors' and Proctors' Life-boat Storm Sprite, stationed at "Wmchelsea, were launched to the aid of the shipwrecked men, a high wind blowing at the time and a heavy sea running.
