On the night of the 15th January, three vessels which were at anchor in Dungarvan Pool were driven on the rocky shore at Ballin- acourty, the wind blowing a whole gale from the S. at the time. Two of them got so close to the shore that they did not require any assistance; but the third, the brigantine Corrihill of this port, had the three men who were on board saved by the Christopher Ludlow Life-boat, which promptly put off on observing the perilous position of the vessels..
