The Lowestoft life-boat also went out on the 3rd March, in reply- to signals of distress  during a heavy N.N.W. gale, and brought safely ashore from the schooner Anna Louisa, of Rye, the crew of 8 men of the schooner Amelia, of Torquay, the latter vessel having been wrecked on the Holm Sand.
