Douglas Pennant

.—On the 22nd Jan- uary, the life-boat London Sunday Schools and Charles Scare was got out in conse- quence of a message stating that 4 men were to be seen on the Dulas Rocks. The boat was launched in a heavy sea, with a strong easterly wind, and succeeded in saving all the men. They were the crew of the schooner Douglas Pennant, of Caernarvon, which had been wrecked on the Dulas Rocks about 2 o'clock that morning. The vessel went to pieces in an hour and a half, but the crew managed to get on the rocks, where they remained exposed to the weather till they could be seen from the land, and rescued by the life-boat..
