Queen Victoria, of Brixham

On the 27th October, 1867, during a strong gale of wind, the Florence life-boat put off, in reply to signals of distress from the smack Queen Victoria, of Brixham, which was dismasted off St. Govin's Head, and, with the assist- ance of a shore-boat, succeeded in towing the disabled smack safely into port.
