About mid- night on the 29th March a vessel was re- ported on shore on the South Tail, Bideford Bar, wind blowing strong from N.N.W., and a heavy sea on. The Hope life-boat was im- mediately launched, and succeeded in saving the crew of 3 men in a very exhausted state.
