On the 24th No- vember three fishing-boats were seen making for the harbour. The weather at the time was very stormy and a heavy sea was running on the Bar, through which it was feared they could not pass safely. The Albert Victor life-boat was accordingly launched, and pro- ceeding over the Bar, piloted the boats safely into harbour.
