On the morning of .the 23rd November the schooner Fer- nand,, of St. .Male, stranded on the West Sand, at the entrance of Blakeney Harbour.

;In the evening it came on to blow heavily from E.S.E., causing a very bad sea, which .placed the crew, who bad hitherto refused to leave their vessel, in very great danger.

The Blakeney lifeboat went out and brought safely ashore the crew of 5 men.
