Water Lily

On the 11th February the schooner Water Lily, of Pwllheli, dragged her anchors in Darby Haven, in a heavy gale from the N.W., and sprang a leak. A signal of distress being hoisted, the Castletown life-boat was sent for, and proceeded to her, taking off her crew, 4 in number, and landing them in safety. Soon after, the vessel foundered at her anchors.
