Neuha, of Berwick on Tweed

On the 4th January, 1863, the ketch Neuha, of Berwick-upon-Tvveed, having got on shore on the Abertay Bank in a gale fromE.S.E., with foggy weather, the Mary Hartley life- boat, stationed at Broughty Ferry, pro- ceeded to her assistance. Fortunately the life-boat was in time to save the crew of 3 men from perishing in their own boat, in which they had left the vessel, which shortly after became a total wreck..
