On the 22nd April, the smack Mention Lass, of Aberystwyth, stranded on the bar off Aberdovey. The Institution's life-boat stationed there imme- diately proceeded to her, and although the sea was breaking completely over her, the life-boat's crew, by dint of great exertion, succeeded in getting her off the bar, and in taking her safely into the harbour with her crew of 3 men..
