Village Maid, of Fleetwood

On the 10th Feb- ruary, at daylight, a vessel was observed to have sunk on the Dutchman's Bank, and the crew to be clinging to the rigging. The Penmon life-boat was accordingly launched through a high surf, and proceeded .to their aid. The vessel proved to be the schooner Village Maid, of Fleetwood, and her crew of 4 men had been upwards of 12 hours in the rigging. They were speedily got into the life-boat, and conveyed safely to the shore..
