New Draper, of Whitehaven

On the 9th February, the brig New Draper, of Whitehaven, lost her sails in a heavy gale, and was driven ashore near Wicklow harbour. The life- boat stationed there was quickly launched, and succeeded in taking off her crew, 8 in number, and landed them in safety at Wick- low. The Inspecting Commander of Coast- guard, Captain BALFOUR, R.N., went off in the life-boat.
