At daylight on the 2nd Nov., during a very heavy gale, the schooner Friends, of Lynn, parted from her anchor and was driven ashore, three miles south of Bridlington Harbour. The Brid- lington life-boat was quickly conveyed on her transporting-carriage to the spot, and launched to the assistance of her crew, 4 in number, whom she took off and landed in safety.
