On the 21st January the schooner Dem Wyn, stranded on Cardigan bar during a heavy ground-swell, the sea breaking completely over her. The Cardigan life-boat, was thereupon launched, and suc- ceeded in taking off the crew of 8 men, and in landing them safely.
