on the 10th October, this life-boat was launched and proceeded to the wreck of the schooner Sunshine, of Padstow, on the Newcome Sand, the wind blowing a fresh gale from the S.W. at the time. On arrival at the vessel it was found that she had already been deserted by her crew, who were afterwards found to have landed in their own boat.
