Haberdine, of Teignmouth

On the 14th March the schooner ffaberdine, of Teignmouth, on making Padstow harbour, was driven ashore on the Dunbar Sand. The life-boat was quickly alongside, and rescued her crew of 4 men. The vessel became shortly after a total wreck. The Padstow life-boat is on Mr. PEAKE'S design, and had been only a few months on the station, this being her first service: she behaved entirely to the satisfaction of her crew.
