FEBRUARY 3RD. - HOLY ISLAND , NORTHUMBERLAND. The Danish steamer Alexandra, of Esbjerg, had been bombed and machine-gunned by German aircraft, but the life-boat found nothing. - Rewards, £8 14s. 6d.
JANUARY 31ST. - FRASERBURGH, ABERDEENSHIRE. The Danish steamer Ellensborg, of Copenhagen, had been mined or torpedoed eighteen miles N.E. of Kinnaird Head, but nothing could be found. - Rewards, £18 2s. 9d.
FEBRUARY 28TH. - THE HUMBER, YORKSHIRE. A bomber aeroplane had been reported down in the sea, but another message came that she “ had been accounted for “, and the life-boat was recalled. - Paid permanent crew.
JULY 2ND. - SOUTHEND - ON - SEA, ESSEX. A rowing boat had got into difficulties and a motor boat which went to her aid broke down, but both boats got in unaided.-Rewards, £10 10s. 6d.

MARCH 31ST. - WALTON AND FRINTON, ESSEX. An aeroplane had been reported down in the sea, but the lifeboat was recalled by wireless. - Rewards, £13 11s. 6d.
MAY 7TH. - KILLYBEGS, CO.bDONEGAL. A fishing yawl, with a crew of six, was overdue in a gale, but she made land without help. - Rewards, £8 15s.
DECEMBER 19TH. - BARRA ISLAND, HEBRIDES. A light had been seen off the coast, thought to be from a ship’s boat, but nothing could be found. - Rewards, £14 5s. 6d..
