27th Octo- ber. A steamer had foundered, but a trawler rescued the crew. The life- boat, which had been launched at 1.45 P.M., put into Drummore at 10 P.M., and returned to her station next morn- ing.—Rewards, £25 18*..

Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Norfolk.

—20th September. The Dutch motor vessel Jola, of Delfzyl, had stranded on the Scroby Sands, but got off unaided and came into Yarmouth Roads.— Rewards, £9 10s..

24th October. A report that a steamer had sunk N.E. of the Kentish Knock light- ship was received, but only a large survey buoy with a mast could be found at the position given.—Rewards, £32 175..

Two gifts have been received of 392 farthings. One, of 152 farthings, was anonymous. The other, of 240, was a year's collection of farthings made by the women's staff in a London office..
