9th October. A motor yacht with .two small boats in tow needed help, and before the life-boat arrived it was given by two boats from Amble.—Rewards, £20 7s..
23rd Nov- ember. Two fishing boats had run on the rocks in a fog, but were helped off by other boats.—Rewards, £16 14s.
20th December.
A fishing boat was overdue, but made port while the life-boat was searching in a thick fog.—Rewards, £36 6s. lOd.
Explosions due to the dispersing of a wreck in foggy weather were mis- taken for distress signals by a light- vessel.—Rewards, £21 6s..
