APRIL 2ND. - WALTON AND FRINTON, ESSEX. An R.A.F. Hurricane aeroplane was reported to be in distress near the Cork lightship, but nothing could be found.

OCTOBER 2ND. - SKEGNESS, LINCOLNSHIRE.

A German aeroplane had been brought down off Chapel St. Leonards, but the crew of five swam ashore and were made prisoners. - Rewards, £19 14s. 6d..

JULY 26TH. - ROSSLARE HARBOUR, CO. WEXFORD. A small yacht had gone ashore on the Dogger Bank, but got off without help. - Partly paid permanent crew.

FEBRUARY 9TH. - THURSO, CAITHNESS- SHIRE. A ship’s boat had been reported drifting off Sandside Head, but nothing was found. The boat later went ashore, badly damaged, with no one on board.
